PACT ACT UPDATE
BOGO IS HERE TO STAY
As discussed in our recent PACT Act update, all vape retailers, including eJuice BOGO, are subject to new regulations regarding shipping vape products.
Here is what that means for you:
- All orders placed after March 26th will incur an additional $7 fee for the adult signature required for USPS Priority [PACT Act Compliant] delivery. This means that an adult aged 21 or older must present their valid ID with an address matching the recipient’s address and sign for the package(s).
- There are alternative options for you: customers can open a P.O. Box through USPS or request that USPS bring their package to a pickup location, where the recipient will still need to show a valid ID and sign for the package.
- If neither of these options works for you, your USPS carrier will leave a notice on your door with instructions for alternative options to receive your delivery.
You will also likely notice an increase in the taxes incurred by your purchase at checkout. Beginning March 26, individual states and municipalities will begin to levy their own additional taxes on vape products. When you go to complete your eJuice BOGO purchase, these taxes will be automatically calculated and applied to your cart.
For additional updates on taxes, shipping fees, or other important information, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on social media.
eJuice BOGO was founded on the idea that vape juice should be affordable and accessible for all adults, and recent developments in government regulations have added some obstacles for us. To prevent any rumors or misinformation, we want to let you all know that we are here to stay. There are new procedures we must follow, and the process for shipping your orders to you will change, but eJuice BOGO is not going anywhere.
What Is Changing
In December of 2020, the U.S. government signed the PACT Act (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act), which set into motion a series of new regulations regarding how vape products can be sold online and delivered to customers.
All vape retailers must require a valid ID and signature from an adult upon your order’s arrival starting March 26th, 2021. To qualify as an adult signature, the recipient must have a valid form of identification, and you will see a related fee on your purchase.
USPS will no longer be a shipping option starting April 27th, 2021. There will be alternative shipping options, and we will update you all as soon as we know more. Please sign up for our email newsletter to see these updates.
Also, some e-Liquid manufacturers are electing to discontinue some or all of their products. Therefore, you may see changes in our stock in the coming months. However, we have placed orders to restock our website, which may take a while to get to our warehouse due to regulations and pandemic-related shipping delays.
What eJuice BOGO Can Do For You
In this unprecedented time, things may feel uncertain, but we assure you that we are doing all that we can to keep our doors open and remain in business. In all honesty, the future is bright for us, and we will continue to offer affordable prices and exclusive deals on our website. Our current age verification process will not change, except for the need for an adult with a valid identification card to receive packages.
Vapers who live outside of the continental U.S., including Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories, will no longer be able to accept shipments. Additional taxes will be added to all tobacco products, not just on our site but on every vape site, which may increase the cost of your order. At this time, we are doing all we can to lessen any extra costs for you and ensure that your shopping experience will stay at the eJuice BOGO standard of excellence.
What You Can Do
We understand that this change is frustrating, and as a part of our community, you might feel helpless or unheard. We here at eJuice BOGO are just as upset as you may be because this is not just a job for us; it is a lifestyle. Most of our staff members are vape users, and we are affected by this change as well.
In the meantime, you can take action by reaching out to your local representatives and taking a stand against their heavy-handed laws about vape products. That being said, these rules are not meaningless; this helps us maintain a vaping community of only adults, and we are always in support of #No2Minors. Understanding that there is a purpose behind these laws helps us focus on the task at hand: keeping our website running and keeping our customers happy and well-stocked on e-juice.
Before these changes take effect on March 26 and April 27th, 2021, we recommend taking advantage of our low prices and affordable shipping options and stocking up on what you need. Be sure to check back on our site and sign up for our email newsletter for continued updates as this date gets closer. We thank you for supporting eJuice BOGO, and keep on vaping!
